Pierrick was born in Normandy, France, in 1984 and grew up there before moving to Paris for studies. He lived as an exchange student in Bath, UK in 2007 and in 2008 moved to Beijing, China to work as a software engineer for a game editor.

In 2009, Pierrick moved back to Paris, France.

On holiday in South Korea while in Asia, he developed an interest for photography as a way to share the beautiful experience and memories of his trips with his family and friends in France. The streets of Nanluoguxiang, Beijing were the place where Pierrick developed his deep interest in street photography, which he has since refined and further improved.

Over the next few years in Europe, he started learning about film photography, from film development to printing in the darkroom. Pierrick counts Gildas Lepetit-Castel, Justin Sainsbury, Guillaume Kayacan and Charles Freger as his teachers and role models, photographers of whom he has had the opportunity to learn from over the past few years.

Pierrick's street photography was exhibited in Manchester in 2013. In 2014, he exhibited his portrait serie "Rouennais", featuring the people of the city, in his home town of Rouen.
